Feedback you can trust
Practice only helps if the feedback is honest. So we hold ourselves to a few rules:
- Measured, not guessed. Pace, filler words, pauses, false starts and hedging are counted from your actual recording, not estimated by an AI’s impression.
- We don’t claim to read your mind. We don’t score “confidence” or nerves from your tone of voice, because that can’t be measured reliably. We score the habits a listener actually hears.
- Every verdict is explained. A mock interview’s hire lean comes with a plain definition of what it means, and we say clearly that it’s one interviewer’s read of one conversation, not a prediction of a real hiring decision.
- A strong answer can score high. The scorer is demanding, but it rewards a genuinely good answer instead of always finding something to mark down.

A wave of interview tools now market themselves as real-time “copilots” — whispering answers in your ear while you’re on the call. Others happily invent impressive-sounding metrics to pad your resume. Both put you one background check, one follow-up question, one reference call away from getting caught.

Practice for a specific job and each part of your story (Situation, Task, Action, Result) is scored against that role. Practice by topic and your answer is scored on Relevance, Clarity, Evidence, Impact and Differentiation. Either way you're told which sentence to fix and why. That's the difference between "needs improvement" and "your result has no number; add one."
